Claret velvet with a scatter of cream flecks. The deep burgundy looks as good with a white shirt as it does with a party dress, and the flecks give it a softer, hand-finished feel. Fleck started life as a gingham, redrawn as loose cream flecks that recall the small hand-bound dots of Japanese shibori dyeing.
